Together We Rise or Fall

Together we rise or fall; the writing is on the wall.

Do you weep with me in the rain as I weep, and do you groan my groans in thunder?
Do you sigh with me a mournful sigh in chilling breeze, aching as my heart so aches?
Do I sense your anger in lightening that rips the day-sky asunder,
As You feel my pain that pains so deeply in this my weak soul that breaks?

Together we rise or fall; the writing is on the wall.

Oh move me now to dream in life-giving stream, and to hope in you and dance!
Plumb my deepest depths in deep intertwine divine; forever my soul entrance.
Yes, now coax me with your love from above and lead us forth by gentle hand,
On through this desert world, flag of gold unfurled with promises grand.

Together we rise or fall; the writing is on the wall.

I believe enough to sing from highest hill, in cadence with your voice so softly still,
And even now does tomorrow call with dreams to dream, as you weave your blessed theme.
Sister, my sister, serene and mild, so sweetly enchanting, lead on thru world so daunting,
Haunting so wildly; be free to stir in me desire to see beyond diabolical, comical chicanery.

For together we rise or fall … your writing is on the wall.
