Someone Is Watching

Someone is here, watching me, and touching me;
My deep feelings sought and brought out to see.
Someone is there, glistening and listening to me;
Whom I know I know not, holding fruit of the tree
For me, me to eat to take my seat among the gods.

And there she goes, turning my whole world around,
Unbound, pulling life inside-out without a sound…

Someone is standing beside me to hide me, guide me,
Confide in me the innermost secrets of cosmic glee,
And now how shall I flee from pedigree of divinity?
Someone is holding me tight with might; no fight.

And there she goes, turning my whole world around,
Unbound, pulling life inside-out without a sound…

Someone is sitting on my bed, and knitting my gown,
Preparing my crown, and now I feel as heavy as lead,
And could not have heard the word spoke, provoked
To wonder at my blunder in incantation for purpose
Of reclamation of desire fulfilled in incarnation.

And there she goes, turning my whole world around,
Unbound, pulling life inside-out without a sound…

Someone is smiling at me over cloth-crochet of black;
Someone is pointing me to an ancient worn haversack;
Someone is kissing me, not farewell; the bag is packed
For track, now I know, to the ever-deep-down below;
Someone is grabbing my hand, while stabbing…….

And now go I, my whole world turned around,
now unbound, my life sinking without sound…
